The Logos

Jesus Christ is the Logos of the Deity in human form. This Logos, spoken to us by the Messiah, gives us an introduction to the Logic of the Father Deity: His Rationale, His Reasoning, the Way He Thinks: His Logic. It soon becomes apparent that the Logic of the Deity is completely opposite to Human Logic. As we become doers of this Divine Rationale, we prove its efficacy and everything begins to change for us: our thinking, our attitudes, our actions and ultimately our abilities.

Finding The God

If we are to have an audience with a king, we must follow the protocol which has been predetermined. We will have no choice in the matter nor would we be concerned with this requirement: after all, he is the king.
In the same manner, the only way we can come to The Creator is according to the protocol which He has determined. It is not of our own choosing. This Creator, this Father Deity, this God above all gods, has given us part of Himself, His own Logos, sent to earth in the form of a human. His name is Yeshua (in Hebrew), Joshua (in English) or Jesus (in Greek). We come to this Father Deity ONLY through Jesus the Messiah for that is the protocol The Creator has determined.

I’ve headed this page, Finding the God, but in reality, we don’t ever FIND God, simply because it is not God who is lost. It is every one of us who have gone off to do “what is right in our own eyes”, who have turned our backs on Him and ultimately find ourselves lost. It is He who reaches out to us through His Son when we eventually realise we need Him and we call-out to Him. Christ the Son says: I stand upon your doorstep, knocking at your door. If you might heed the voice of me and open the door to me, I shall come into you, and I will dine with you and you with me.

It is so sad that most of us have to come to an end of ourselves, and sometimes a desperate end, before we would turn to God to ask for help. He waits patiently, longing for us to acknowledge Him and seek Him. However, He will not impose Himself upon us. He honours the free choice He has given us.

Many may read or listen to all that is under the Evidence for the Deity menu on this web site, and even become convinced that there HAS to be a real God or, as some would call it, a Supreme Being, but being convinced that there has to be a real God is very different to knowing there is a real God by experiencing Him. Conviction based on rational argument can be upset and sometimes overturned by other seemingly rational argument, but actually experiencing the God is the ultimate conviction which can not be taken away from any person.

Experiencing The God, who is God above all gods, is so easy and yet so hard. It is so easy because all I have to do is ask Him to renew a right spirit in me:– to make my own spirit holy, as Yehsua says : If you, then, being inherently wicked, are aware how to give good gifts to your children, how much rather will the Father Who is out of heaven, be giving a holy spirit to those requesting Him! Yet it is so hard, because asking implies we acknowledge His existence, when we’re not really sure of His existence. Amazingly, such vulnerability leads to a love we could never have comprehended.

If you wish, listen to the first of the following videos to see how the God started to change this French atheist, but first, read these words he spoke to this God he didn’t know: “… if you’re real, I am going to need to have you really explicitly reveal yourself to me in ways that I can trust is real….” God’s response was life changing for this young man but not what he expected. Watch his story.

The second video is the testimony of David Wood, the interviewer in the first video. David was a sociopath who thought nothing of trying to kill his friend and then his own dad, but the power of the God changed all that.

Every person’s journey is different as the other videos show, but this God knows what is necessary for each of us. All we have to do is cry out to Him. Find a quiet place where you can hear the silence, where you can’t be disturbed. Remember, this is between you and the Creator and no one else.

If you need words to speak, you could do little better than saying something equivalent to what the French atheist said above:
“… God, I don't know whether you are real or not, but if you do exist I want you to show me in a way that I know is real….”

It is not about believing in the God, it’s about experiencing Him. I no longer believe there is a God, I KNOW there is a God.
