The Light of the World, The Light of the Life, The Logos of the Deity

The Logos

Jesus Christ is the Logos of the Deity in human form. This Logos, spoken to us by the Messiah, gives us an introduction to the Logic of the Father Deity: His Rationale, His Reasoning, the Way He Thinks: His Logic. It soon becomes apparent that the Logic of the Deity is completely opposite to Human Logic. As we become doers of this Divine Rationale, we prove its efficacy and everything begins to change for us: our thinking, our attitudes, our actions and ultimately our abilities.

New Testament Discoveries

This page and its two sub-menu pages are primarily designed for followers of Christ who want to search the scriptures more deeply. If you have not yet reached that point, you can skip these menus.

As I have indicated on my Site Author page, I have spent quite some years now studying the New Testament in the Greek. It began in 1984 as a consequence of a change of Bible translation which our assembly was using. The differences led to a deeper enquiry requiring an examination of the Greek upon which our English texts were based. Initially, I was reluctant to learn the Greek, as I was never much good at any languages in high school (yes, even English), but the differences in the text and the soon discovered differences in translations, along with my hunger for the words of Almighty God, gave me the motivation I needed.

I soon began discovering inconsistencies in the translations which disturbed me terribly. I began to discover that translators, without any hint to the reader, leave out of the English, words present in the Greek; add words to the English not present in the Greek; translate the same Greek word by numerously different and oftentimes unrelated English words; apply the same English word to several different Greek words; and, for no apparent reason, interfere with verb tense and voice.

Through all this, I began to realise that most translators do not believe in their heart that the Spirit of the Almighty God is THE Author of our scripture. That realisation came early on for me through a stunning series of events, which, I later came to appreciate, was the God’s hand in the matter. What caused this realisation is spoken about under the Probability Evidence menu on this site.

My first major discovery was the contradiction I was finding between the Doctrine of the Trinity I had been taught, and what the NT Greek was actually saying. This lead to many years of searching and learning, culminating in a document, written primarily for my own benefit, which I called, The God of Our Lord Jesus Christ, a phrase taken from Ephesians 1:17. Only recently in 2012, after much contemplation and discussion have I made this document public and is now published on this site.

Since that time, I have devoted myself to putting together the multitude of other discoveries made during this journey. They are numerous, often just commenting on a wrong translation. It has also led to doing my own translation of the NT (not yet complete) which abides by these two golden rules: 1. The God by His Spirit is the only author of all our scripture and 2. He is entirely consistent in His use of word meanings. These two ‘rules’ change completely our approach to translation. No longer can I take liberties with the text. I MUST put in English what is actually in the Greek. Much more about this will be discussed under the Bible Translations menu.

Discovery of THE TRUTH is my only goal and I leave it to the reader to determine if this is being achieved.

Wisdom is a tree of Life to all who take hold of her; and blessed are they that hold her fast.
